Working on AC units doesn't make you an HVAC technician.

Ever since I moved into my home, I have found out why people like living in communities.

I have made several good friends, and they are all my neighbors.

I thought I had another friend, until she questioned my veracity. She accused me of telling lies about my husband. I had no idea what she meant, and I wasn’t feeling warm and fuzzy about her at the moment. She told me I claimed my husband was an HVAC technician. I don’t think I ever mentioned what my husband did, but if I did, I certainly didn’t say he was an HVAC technician. My husband serviced our furnace and air conditioning. He had been doing this since we took an HVAC course for homeowners. It taught us how to better describe a problem, clean and service your HVAC system, and how to properly change an air filter. I wouldn’t have thought it would be necessary to learn how to change an air filter, but there was a trick to it. There were other things in the list that the class touched upon, but those three items were the necessities. She told me that Sally, her neighbor, told her I said my husband was an HVAC technician. When I said Sally lied because I never made that claim, she hmphed and walked away from me. My best friend came over and asked what was up with Maggie. Maggie was the one who told me I was a liar. I told her what Maggie said, and she laughed. She told me she said my husband worked on our HVAC system, but that didn’t make him an HVAC technician.
