When you job in an office environment you always have to be aware of your coworkers that surround you. When you live down South where the sunshine usually shines every day plus the heat plus humidity can make it strenuous to breath some days, you’re not even thinking about the chilly or turning the heating system on. In our office, the air conditioner is always running. Most days we dress heavy plus have sweaters hanging on the back of our chairs because we never guess exactly how chilly it’s going to be inside. Every one of us were having a chilly snap where we were actually getting down to the 40s-30s at night, which down here is actually cold. I walked into job one day during this chilly snap plus almost froze as soon as I walked in. They had neglected to switch the air conditioner over to the heating plan before leaving the night before. When our manager came in plus switched the thermostat over to the heater, it wouldn’t switch on. Every one of us sat there for a good 5 minutes playing with the thermostat before we realized that the heating plan was not going to work. It was getting colder plus colder throughout the day… When our General Manager came in he called the Heating plus Air Conditioning company that services the Heating plus Air Conditioning plan for our building plus they arrived within the minute. I saw the 2 Heating plus Air Conditioning specialists out back looking at the air condensers for our building. Hours went by plus we still had no heat. Everyone in the office was bundled up in their sweaters plus the portable heating systems running to try plus keep the office as hot as possible. The only other warmth we could find was outside in the sunshine because luckily it was a beautiful sunny day.
